Jamal is a seasoned international attorney, politician, and philanthropist with Ministerial appointments held in the State of Kuwait. He is well versed with developmental projects and geopolitical, legal and governmental matters. In his first tenure, Jamal served as Minister of Labour and Social Affairs and Minister of Justice. During his second tenure, he was the Minister of Justice and Awqaf and Legal Affairs.

Jamal brings years of international experience through his affiliation with leading global law firms such as Dewey & LeBoeuf Law Firm and Baker & Makenzie LLP.

Avinash is a senior construction, infrastructure, and real estate executive with over 40 years of experience. He is Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of Tawasul Al Umam, Kuwait and Group Chairman of Mannan Group, India a group of companies in the engineering, construction, infrastructure development, and industrial manufacturing space. Avinash started his career as a Project Engineer at Patel Engineering Company assigned to the Dakpathar Power Station at Yamuna Hydel Project. He later joined the National Buildings Organization, Ministry of Works and Housing, New Delhi, India as Assistant Director of Design upon successfully passing the Indian Engineering Services National Examination in 1974. He then embarked on what has now culminated into a four decade long career in the Middle East and has been responsible for leading some of the most noteworthy projects in the region.

Avinash has been the recipient of various national and international awards, including the Hind Ratan (2007), Navratan (2008), Glory of India (2009) and Bharat Gaurav Awards, and in 2015, was included in the Forbes List of Top Indian Leaders in the Arab World (Owners). Avinash received his Bachelors in Engineering from Thapar University in Patiala who also conferred him the Distinguished Alumni Award at the 2008 annual convocation.

Akshat Mannan has recently joined the group as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Tawasul as COO, he was responsible for leading WS Atkins’ group operations in Bahrain and Kuwait, a leading global engineering consultancy. A Chartered Engineer by background Akshat has led several major projects from strategic planning to multidisciplinary design delivery, across a number of sectors including property, housing, and infrastructure. A Lean Six Sigma practitioner, Akshat has also led improvement projects and advised clients on the deployment of management tools and techniques to improve the delivery of value capability on large infrastructure schemes. Akshat is a successful and highly motivated leader, with a track record of delivering challenging projects, business operations and organizational change.

Akshat received a Bachelors of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and a Masters degree in Construction Management from the University of Birmingham, UK.

Ahmed is a Certified International Credit Finance professional with experience in advanced financial research and analysis at both private and public sector entities. He also worked at the Islamic Development Bank as a financial analyst, As General Manager at Delicious Foods Company, Ahmed was instrumental in single handedly setting up the groups operations, expansion strategy formulation and execution for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during his tenure.

Ahmed received a Bachelors in Business Administration and Finance from the Gulf University of Science and Technology, Kuwait.

Nikhil is a dynamic young executive with experience in the field of construction, real estate, investment, and manufacturing in India and the Middle East. In 2012, he returned from the United States to incubate and grow an industrial manufacturing and supply chain company focusing on high precision engineered products. He brings deep expertise in combining best in class processes and disruptive innovations to drive new product development focused to serve the Indian construction industry.

Nikhil received a Bachelors in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of North Texas.
